We know that when we play  high end game in mobile or computer.. both the CPU and GPU get heated..  fan's inside the computer cool cpu and GPU to dissipate  heat....
In our smart phones we protect our phone with protective case.. when we play an intence game (or) High end game continues phone will get heated if we ignore heating and play continues then we can observe some frame lags and frame drops ....this is because of the thermal throttling ....
If processor facing heavy work load ...then it definitely get heated because of heating processor may damage ..so, processor itself reduse performance , reduce clock speed , naturally heat will also reduces ...
Actually!! why thermal throttling happen??
How can we save our phone from thermal throttling??
How heat can be dessipated??

Every processors excuit instructions..works in same manner ..first it fetches the instructions then decode the instructions  .execute instructions then store the result in memory ...if the processor have high clock  frequency then it execute instructions in short time performance and efficiency increases because of this heat will also increases .. this clock frequency may have gigahertz or megahertz ...you may ask that how heat generated in processor's ...??
To know this we need to understand physics law of thermodynamics ...it says energy is transferred from one system to another system heat will be generated ...in any electronic devices when heat increases then the electrical resistance decreases ...due to this more number of electrons do not flows through it ...the generated heat effect on very tiny electrical path inside the processor's ,efficiency decrease and data  curuption leads to mistakes in results ..

let's see how thermal throttling happens 

In olden days processor have constant frequency and generated constant heat.. If heat not removed from processor using heat sink .then processor get damaged sometimes it burns up....

But now a days we are using multiple core s.more amount of heat generated then processor itself reduces the performance to decrease heat ...and also it save some amount of battery ..if there is heavy workload on processor. inside it uses high power core ... otherwise low power core

we protect our phone with protective case either it normal or flagship phones .mobile manufacturer's manufacture mobile to  dissipate heat through back of our mobiles.. when we cover with protective case then heat do not decepate as much as fastly .so remove your case when playing intence game ,recording 4k videos , working continusly on mobile ....
