 Difference between programming and coding



People often confused between the programing and coding .in this article we try to difference between these two terms.
This question also being asked interviews also, this is basic type of question .you haven't deep dive into programming here .we try to know the basic differences only with some real life examples.
Generally these two terms are interchangeable .for us these two term's are same . some times we use coding some times we use programing right!!!.
There is a difference between these two term's .
Every home there is a remotes it may be TV remote or ac remote when you press particular number of the channel suppose the think that number is 140 then that particular channel appear on your TV ,also you use to increase or decrease the volume of TV .and this is what called the programing. that remote been programmed in such a way that it can accept the human input's and it can synchronize those input's with machine outputs .in every day every body interact with programing behind there is logic or code in case of increasing the volume of TV .there is logic behind that key to increase the volume of TV .
So we can say programming is a broader term .and coding is just a subset of programing .it's like tree verses forest .
In "c "subject if any one ask you to write a program to find out given number is palindrome or not . Here your writing code, it's not programing .
But when you are making any project ,any app development or software development and when you do all the kind of the things planning, designing, requirement analysis and implementations then testing , compiling , development and if you get desired results that is known as" programing".
Generally programmers do expert then coders.

Coding is ability to understand the syntax and structure of the language. in simple words it translates machine understandable language (0's and 1's).
For coding you just require a text editor.
Programing is the ability to translate a idea into a language to solve a particular problem.
The tools required for programing .
Analytical tools, code generators, modeling tools, testing tools, as well as frame work  and so on..
